AV Crew
The Audio-Visual (AV) Crew offers students a unique opportunity to develop technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on learning environment. Through involvement in video production, sound design, lighting, and editing, students gain practical experience while enhancing their communication and teamwork abilities.

With opportunities to work on school events, broadcasts, and creative projects, the AV Club provides an engaging space where gifted students can refine their skills, collaborate with peers, and explore their passion for media and technology.
Chess
The Chess Club provides students with a stimulating and supportive environment to develop strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and resilience. Through structured learning, friendly matches, and competitive play, students enhance mtheir concentration, decision making, and logical reasoning abilities. The club caters to all skill levels, offering training workshops, in-school tournaments, and opportunities to compete against other schools.
Beyond the game, students build confidence, patience, and sportsmanship while engaging with like-minded peers. Whether playing for fun or striving for competition, the Chess Club fosters intellectual growth and a love for lifelong learning.
Chinese/English Conversation
The Chinese/English Conversation Club offers students a fun and interactive way to enhance their language skills while making new friends. Through casual conversations in both Chinese and English, students gain confidence in speaking and listening, improving their fluency and cultural understanding. The club also includes hands-on activities like lantern making and calligraphy, giving students the chance to explore Chinese traditions in a creative and engaging way.
Debating
The Debating Club challenges students to think critically, communicate effectively, and defend their ideas with confidence. By engaging in structured debates, students learn to research complex topics, construct persuasive arguments, and respond to opposing views with clarity and logic.
The club nurtures confidence in public speaking, quick thinking, and teamwork while fostering respectful discussion and active listening. With opportunities to compete in both in-school and external competitions, students refine their ability to analyse issues from multiple perspectives and develop strong leadership and advocacy skills.
E-Sports
The Esports Club provides students with an exciting and supportive environment to develop teamwork, strategic thinking, and hand-eye coordination through competitive gaming. By participating in training sessions and in-school competitions, students improve their skills in various games, learn how to analyse and adapt their strategies, and collaborate effectively with teammates. The club fosters resilience, communication and focus.
Human Powered Vehicle (HPV)
The Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) Team offers students a unique opportunity to design, construct, and race vehicles powered solely by human effort. This hands-on experience fosters teamwork, innovation, and practical engineering skills. Students collaborate to create efficient, aerodynamic vehicles, applying principles of physics and engineering in real-world scenarios.
Participation in events such as the mEnergy Breakthrough in Maryborough, Victoria, allows students to test their creations in competitive settings, promoting resilience and problem-solving abilities. Through these activities, students gain valuable insights into sustainable transportation and renewable energy technologies, preparing them for future studies and careers in engineering, design, and environmental sciences. Students must apply for the team.
InterACT
The Interact Club is a vibrant community where students come together to make a meaningful impact through service and social activities. Open to all students, regardless of the size of their contributions, the club organises a variety of events throughout the year, including Food Drives, Donation Drives, Bake Sales, Harmony Day events, and Christmas Card Deliveries, all in support of local, national, and international charities.
By participating, students develop leadership skills, foster a sense of global citizenship, and build lasting friendships with peers who share a commitment to service. The club’s enthusiastic members warmly welcome newcomers, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment for all.
Model United Nations Assembly
The Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) Club offers students a unique and enriching opportunity to engage with global issues and international diplomacy. Through participation, students develop a strong understanding of the workings of the United Nations and the complexities of international relations. They can take on the role of a delegate, actively engaging in debates and negotiations, or contribute as part of the research and background team, helping to craft speeches and brainstorm ideas.
MUN encourages the development of critical life skills such as public speaking, collaboration, and problem-solving, all while fostering global awareness and empathy. This experience provides valuable insight into global affairs, preparing students for future careers in politics, law, and diplomacy.
Pride
The Pride Club provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for students to celebrate their identities, foster self-acceptance, and build strong connections with others. This club focuses on promoting understanding and respect for all members of the LGBTQ+ community, encouraging open dialogue, and creating opportunities for students to learn about diversity, equality, and inclusion. By participating, students not only gain confidence and advocacy skills but also become part of a community that celebrates individuality and supports one another.
Science Club
The Year 7/8 Science Club offers students an engaging and interactive environment to explore their curiosity and develop essential scientific skills. Students will have the chance to investigate scientific concepts, and design and construct projects, all while deepening their understanding of science.
The club provides a fun, supportive space for students to grow their problem-solving abilities and work collaboratively with peers. With a focus on exploration and discovery, the Science Club fosters a love for learning.
Sustainability Club
Launched at the start of the year, the club has successfully worked with staff, administration, and executive leaders to reinstate the school’s recycling program. Deeply collaborative and student-led, the club is a powerful example of our Strategic Pillars in action—Future Ready and Sustainable Legacy. It’s a space where students drive real change while building connections across the entire school community.
Table Top Role Play
The Tabletop Role Play Club offers students a structured and engaging environment to develop a range of skills through the creative world of tabletop role-playing games (RPGs), such as Dungeons & Dragons. By participating, students enhance their storytelling abilities, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills as they work together to navigate complex scenarios and challenges.
