Performing Arts

Our teaching philosophy at Kingswood College is founded on the belief that every student has something valuable to offer—whether on stage or behind the scenes. 

We nurture a passion for the performing arts, encouraging students to explore and discover their unique talents. Every student who auditions for our productions, regardless of experience or skill level, is warmly welcomed into the creative process.

At Kingswood College, our students engage passionately in the arts, both within the school and beyond. Many are active participants in renowned programs such as the Young Australian Broadway Chorus (YABC), Australian Girls Choir and regularly perform in local productions. Beyond school years, many continue to achieve remarkable success, including selections for VCE Top Class following outstanding Year 12 Theatre Studies monologues, performances in professional productions, and collaborations with internationally acclaimed composers. Our alumni have also pursued studies at prestigious institutions like the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Victorian College of the Arts and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
