Kingswood College is spread across 20 acres in the heart of Box Hill, east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Kingswood College is nestled on 20 acres of serene, picturesque grounds, just 20 kilometres from the heart of Melbourne. With a legacy spanning over a century, our campus blends historic charm with natural beauty, surrounded by lush greenery and thoughtfully landscaped gardens. This tranquil environment offers a calm, inviting space that fosters mindfulness, personal growth, and a balanced pursuit of academic excellence. Students often find their personalised learning space tucked into our garden seats or quietly in our library.

KINDER TO YEAR 12

Our Facilities

At Kingswood College, students from Kinder to Year 12 have access to a wide range of specialist learning facilities within our campus:

Sporting Grounds

Extensive sporting facilities include the AFL-sized Memorial Oval and Fred Cox Oval, a full-size Soccer Pitch, a well-equipped Sports Centre, and outdoor Basketball Courts.

Annette Bennet Science Centre

The Annette Bennet Science Centre is a state-of-the-art facility featuring dedicated VCE Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Psychology laboratories.

Cato Centre

The Cato Centre, our beautiful original school building from 1930, houses an industrial kitchen that supports the culinary adventures of students from Year 4 onwards.

Brimacombe Hall

Brimacombe Hall provides a performing arts and drama space, instrumental music rooms, and serves as a versatile multi-purpose venue.

Imaginarium Early Learning Centre

The Imaginarium Early Learning Centre, our newest purpose-built facility, inspires our youngest learners with two dedicated outdoor play areas and a range of inviting indoor learning rooms.

Design Centre

Our state-of-the-art Design Centre features fully equipped studios for woodwork, metalwork, textiles, and graphic design. Students have access to cutting-edge technologies, including 3D printing and laser engraving, fostering creativity and innovation.

Resource Centre

The Resource Centre, a one-stop hub for student support, includes our Health Centre and Library for students in Years 7 to 12.

Junior School Library

A dedicated Junior School Library offers quiet reading and research zones, along with a flexible teaching space.

Multi-Purpose Outdoor Sports Court

An all-weather synthetic Multi-Purpose Outdoor Sports Court is centrally located within the Junior School precinct.

Senior School Lecture Theatre

The Senior School Lecture Theatre, with seating for 80, is located within the C.F. Walker Centre and supports presentations, guest lectures, and more.

The Woods Café

The Woods Café offers freshly prepared snacks and lunches daily for students and staff.

Accessibility & Transport

Access to the campus is provided through several secure gates, with allocated parking and drop-off zones via Gates 1 & 2 to ensure ease of movement for families and visitors. Each area of the campus is interconnected, fostering a strong sense of community while maintaining clear transitions between learning stages.

Train

The College is located just a short walk from Box Hill Station, a major interchange on the Lilydale and Belgrave train lines. From the station, students can either walk (approximately 15–20 minutes) or catch a connecting bus to the campus.

Bus

Several bus routes service the Box Hill area, with stops conveniently located near the school along Station Street and surrounding roads:

  • Route 733 (Box Hill to Oakleigh via Clayton) stops along Station Street near Gate 3.
  • Route 735 (Box Hill to Nunawading via Springvale Rd) offers access to nearby neighborhoods.
  • Additional routes from Box Hill Station cover a wide range of surrounding suburbs.
