Principal - Chrissy Gamble
Chrissy Gamble is a personable and articulate leader with a passion for creating exceptional educational experiences for young people.
A strong advocate for the value of independent schools, she is deeply committed to fostering and sustaining excellence within outstanding educational communities. Chrissy has a natural affinity for relationships, community and capacity building, and acts on this through her dedication to helping both students and staff achieve their personal best.
Chrissy has led and taught in independent schools around Australia for almost 30 years. Her breadth of experience extends from Kindergarten to Year 12 settings, including classroom teaching, governance, advocacy, funding programs, strategic planning and curriculum development.
Chrissy has a Master of Education from Murdoch University and a Bachelor of Arts (Education) from Curtin University. Her Master’s Degree explored gifted and talented students and the role accelerated learning can play in their progress.
Director of Business - Chris Mara
Chris joined Kingswood College in 2021 as the Director of Business. His role focuses on the financial sustainability of the College, the upkeep of the College’s facilities and the strategic direction of the College.
Chris has been working in schools since 2012 and he was previously the Finance Manager at Korowa Anglican Girls’ College a senior position he held since 2017.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting, a Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits, and a Master of Business Administration. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Association of School Business Administrators (ASBA).
Head of School (K-6) - Amy Lovell
Amy Lovell is the Head of School (K-6), joining the College at the beginning of Term 3 2020.
Amy brings a wealth of experience to the classroom and the Executive Team, having been a key leader at Carey Baptist Grammar School’s Junior School (Kew campus) since 2005.
Amy has a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education and a Graduate Certificate in Education (Specific Learning Difficulties), all from the University of Melbourne. She has led curriculum reviews, implemented significant learning programs and is committed to individual growth and personal best in each young person. Her reputation as a strong, innovative and imaginative curriculum leader is well established.
Amy is intelligent and empathetic, and her values are strongly aligned with those of Kingswood College, and her commitment to service and building community are hallmarks of her career in education.
Head of School (7-9) - Lisa Sacristani
Lisa Sacristani is the Head of School (7-9) commencing at the College in 2023.
Lisa is an experienced middle years’ leader, and prior to joining Kingswood College she was the Head of Junior Secondary (Middle School) at Donvale Christian College. Lisa worked at Donvale Christian College for more than a decade and held a range of leadership positions including Head of Year 9, as well as teaching English, Humanities and Sport to secondary students.
Prior to Donvale, Lisa worked at a number of other schools in teaching positions across a range of settings, as well as owning her own business. At the heart of Lisa’s educational philosophy is the power of relationships.
Lisa understands what it takes to build strong communities, and her hope is that every student in her care, will develop an imperviable identity, one where they have a deep sense of their value and worth, know who they are and that they belong. In 2021 Lisa completed her Master of Education (Leadership) at the University of Melbourne.
Head of School (10-12) - Rob Fuller
Rob Fuller commenced in January 2024 as the Head of School (10-12).
Rob joins us from Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School where he was most recently the Director of Curriculum, and a member of the School’s Executive. In this role Rob had responsibility for all aspects of curriculum development, assessment and reporting in the senior years.
A passionate teacher of Global Politics, History and English, he has held a range of roles throughout his time at Ivanhoe Girls’ and has been instrumental in setting the curriculum and learning direction for the secondary years. Rob is an experienced educator with a passion for ensuring that students have real-world experiences that challenge them to develop resilience, healthy and positive relationships, and character.
A people-person, Rob develops strong relationships, and he will bring to Kingswood College experience in curriculum development, building student and staff capacity, contributing to our academic programs and outcomes.
Head of People & Culture - Tina Flyger
Tina Flyger commenced as the Head of People and Culture in Term 2 2024.
With a belief that people are the cornerstone of any organisation, Tina brings over 15 years of invaluable human resources experience to the table. Tina’s collaborative approach involves partnering with executives, managers, and teams to collectively develop, design, and deliver strategy.
Tina is not only a seasoned People & Culture leader but also a relatable, dynamic, and approachable professional with a wealth of experience in both schools and industry. Tina’s arrival promises a focus on fostering a supportive and thriving culture within our college community.
We are confident that Tina’s expertise will play a pivotal role in nurturing our staff and students, enhancing collaboration, and driving our college towards a bright future.
